Rockin Rodeo at Stoney Inn

Early in the evening this place isn't very crowded, especially since is now competing with The Station on Wednesday, so I will work with DJ (Patrick) to have a more beginner-oriented time from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

Reportedly decent food there -- note the $20 dine / dance / drink option on Wednesdays if you are interested. Another time we might eat beforehand; but I'm focused on dance planning this time around.

Directions: Exit 80 at Arden, but go West (left) back under the freeway. A bit over a mile is Del Paso -- wide intersection with street at an angle; overhead trolley wires & big beam with all the traffic lights. Turn left, go just over two blocks; its on the left a couple of buildings past a fenced-in parking lot. The sign is easy to miss. It is the only active place in that block after business hours.

Parking is on the street. The area is being redeveloped; don't let the unfinished look (to put it politely) scare you off. I know a number of dancers who have been there often since it opened, without any signs of trouble out on the street.
